VIDEO: Bill Belichick Cracking a 69 Joke at Patriots Press Conference is Incredible
By Parker White

Rob Gronkowski may be retired, but that doesn't mean the 69 jokes aren't still flowing in New England. However, the messenger of these childish jokes is really surprising. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick responded to a question about offensive tackle Dan Skipper and said he's similar to Nate Solder. Why? Because they're "both 6-9." Belichick followed that up with a smirk you don't usually seem from him.

Gronk, gone but never forgotten :’) pic.twitter.com/D67xGtu1VO
What the hell is going on? Belichick is a stickler for having fun, and I'm sure he pulled Gronk to the side plenty of times for the things he said. I guess this latest Super Bowl really lightened him up a bit.

Maybe Belichick feels obligated to keep the tradition alive after Gronk's retirement.
Let's go with that.
