It seems like the 2019 Philadelphia Eagles are trying to invoke the talents of teams from the past! In his postgame media session, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery wore an awesome Reggie White throwback jersey as the team celebrated their 32-27 Week 1 comeback win over the division-rival Washington Redskins.

It's probably safe to say that fans and players alike would love to see these threads out on the gridiron again every Sunday.
Although, to be fair, regardless of whatever jersey he's wearing, Jeffery is going to get the job done. He certainly did his part in the season opener. The veteran wideout hauled in five catches for 49 yards and a touchdown as the Eagles erased a 17-point deficit.

He and the Eagles did the franchise icon right on Sunday by staging their comeback. If they can play like that for the entire season, they'll be in fine shape to net the city its second Super Bowl win.
