VIDEO: Aaron Donald Basically Suplexed Andy Dalton and Did Not Get Flagged

As we've witnessed through eight weeks of action, the NFL has prioritized player safety in 2019. That emphasis, however, has been met with an outpouring of controversy, as some flags, especially roughing the passer, have been alarmingly questionable. Well, referees during the Rams-Bengals game on Sunday missed a blatant penalty on Aaron Donald's sack of Andy Dalton. Folks, the Rams' All-Pro defensive tackle quite literally suplexed the Red Rifle, yet somehow wasn't penalized for the brutal hit.

If that ferocious assault isn't considered roughing the passer, then the NFL should just scrap their rulebook. Donald is the most dominant force of nature in the game, but he should not get away with throwing quarterbacks around like rag dolls.

Dalton was lucky to walk away from this play without an injury, and Donald was even luckier not to have been penalized.
