San Francisco 49ers linebacker Kwon Alexander has a huge task on his hands in trying to corral the Minnesota Vikings' offense Saturday, but there's another major football item on his calendar coming up Monday night, too: his beloved LSU Tigers are playing in college football's national championship. So, to mark the occasion, he alluded to a Louisiana icon practically as famous as Mike the Tiger during his big moment in NBC's customary player introductions Saturday.

That's right, folks: LSU is Hot Boys University.

Devotees will recall that the Hot Boys were a hip hop group under the aegis of Ca$h Money Records, the label co-founded by iconic New Orleans rapper Birdman and his brother, Slim Williams. The group featured future superstars Lil Wayne and Juvenile, as well as BG, Turk, and Bulletproof.

The Louisiana faithful far and wide are behind the Bayou Bengals as they take on Clemson Monday night for college football's grandest prize. You can bet that Weezy is backing them, too, though preferably not with a glass of drank in his hand (for various reasons).

Kwon, thanks for taking us down memory lane. While you're at it, can you fill us in on what the hell BG and Turk have been doing for the last 15 years.
