Kobe and Gianna Bryant's deaths in January shocked the entire world, no one more so than the Lakers star's wife and GiGi's dedicated mother, Vanessa Bryant.

To remember their lives, Vanessa dedicated a tattoo to each back in February, and allowed tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado to publicly repost her reveal of the tattoos on social media this week.

Vanessa received a pair of tattoos, one for Gianna on her wrist and another for Kobe on her neck. Vanessa did not reveal the message of either tattoo, but they surely have a deeply personal meaning. In reference to the Lakers legend, Vanessa wrote, "I wanted my boo boo's @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me."

The tattoos are one of many ways that Vanessa and the Bryant family have taken on the insurmountable challenge of attempting to cope with Kobe and Gianna's deaths. Earlier this month, Vanessa commemorated Gianna's eighth grade graduation, while also attempting to overcome the financial and emotional losses of the event.

Kobe and Gianna had a heartfelt memorial in February, where many NBA legends celebrated and remembered Kobe, and Vanessa delivered a set of touching words about her husband and daughter. Now, she has permanently memorialized them on her skin.
