Michigan is fighting to win its first title since 1962. They had a chance to seal the deal on Tuesday, but they just couldn't crack Vanderbilt star Kumar Rocker. After scoring seven runs in Game 1, the Michigan offense combined for just one run on four hits.
If they're to end their title drought, then a stronger performance out of the offense is an absolute must heading into Game 3. That'll be a tough task without leadoff man Jordan Nwogu, who's sidelined by a left quad strain.

After faltering to open up the College World Series Final, the Commodores have the chance to re-establish themselves as the nation's top baseball program. The school's only championship came back in 2014, but they can add another on Wednesday if they get a strong performance out of starter Mason Hickman.
Hickman boasts a 2.08 ERA this season, so Vanderbilt has the right guy on the mound to keep things quiet.
