USC Football is a Truly Corrupt Disaster if Fired Staffer's Latest Allegations Are True
By Will Fowler

Last year was a season to forget for USC fans everywhere -- after back-to-back double-digit win seasons, the Trojans finished below .500 for the first time since 2000, finishing 5-7 and missing out on bowl game qualification.
The misfortune didn't stop there, as the program was made the subject of jokes surrounding Kliff Kingsbury, who was hired as the offensive coordinator but left just one month later for the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job.
And it doesn't seem like things are getting better in Los Angeles -- recent reports have surfaced regarding a former coaching being "forced out" by the university after reporting NCAA violations.
A former member of the USC football coaching staff alleges in a lawsuit that he was retaliated against for reporting NCAA violations to the compliance office. https://t.co/6xK7dcsbf4

If true, this is a brutal look for USC football at a time in which it is already at a low point. Former defensive quality control assistant Rick Courtright claimed he heard two graduate assistants talking with defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast to create a plan that paid low-level players to take online classes on behalf of the grad assistants.

Whether or not this is a true story, it will be interesting to see how USC football responds with these reports surfacing.
