Roy Williams and the up-and-down North Carolina Tar Heels were just dealt some crushing injury news that could flip the script in the ACC.

Star point guard Cole Anthony, in addition to swingman Leaky Black, will not play in Sunday's game against Wofford, with Anthony ruled out indefinitely with a right knee injury.

That could be quite the concern for a point guard that plays near the rim like Anthony.

Anthony has lived up to the hype in his first, and likely only, season in Chapel Hill. With 19.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, Anthony has shown off the shocking athleticism that could make him the No. 1 pick in the 2020 draft.

The Tar Heels, who have struggled against some premier competition this year, will be out their leading scorer, assister, and third-leading rebounder.

Anthony is almost assuredly going pro next season, so the Chapel Hill faithful not only suffered a major blow in their title aspirations, but they lost out on a few more games of watching Anthony as a Tar Heel before he goes pro.

"Indefinitely" sounds significantly scarier than game-to-game, too. We'll stay tuned for updates. A hobbled Armando Bacot and an invisible Anthony and Black will make for tough sledding through the Tar Heels' brutal schedule.
