The news broke Tuesday night that the Boston Red Sox are trading both Mookie Betts and David Price to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Details are still emerging but one thing that was reported is that a third team will be involved. That team is reportedly the Minnesota Twins, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.

The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal confirmed the news and added the players who will be on the move.

As of now we know that Betts and Price are headed to Los Angeles. Alex Verdugo is on his way to Boston and Kenta Maeda is now going to Minnesota.

Brusdar Graterol is also headed to the Red Sox. He is a pitcher and the No. 83 overall prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline. Graterol is known for his triple-digit velocity.

The Twins get a veteran starter in exchange for a younger prospect. The Dodgers get two stars and the Red Sox receive some young talent in addition to some major salary relief. More details could still emerge as this blockbuster deal begins to take shape.
