Tua Tagovailoa's Rehab Plan and Long-Term Injury Timetable Revealed
By Jerry Trotta

Football fans across America were left devastated on Saturday when Tua Tagovailoa was carted off the field in agony with a hip injury in the closing minutes of the first half of Alabama's clash vs. Mississippi State.
It was later determined the Crimson Tide superstar suffered a dislocated hip and was flown to Houston on Sunday for surgery. Doctors expect a long rehab for Tagovailoa and ESPN's Adam Schefter just disclosed his timetable to resume athletic activity.
Tua will begin a daily rehab program in Tuscaloosa while he also goes through a "weight bearing recovery plan" for six weeks. He won't be able to resume athletic exercise for three months and is predicted to be permitted to start throwing by the spring.
Tua Tagovailoa will be on a partial weight bearing recovery plan for six weeks and will be rehabbing daily in Tuscaloosa, per @LauraRutledge. Then, in three months, he will be able to begin athletic activity again, and by the spring, he is expected to be able to resume throwing.

It's certainly going to be a long journey back to full health for the Crimson Tide's signal caller, but it's clear that he has the right head on his shoulders to push through the adversity.
We don't doubt that pundits and fans will begin to ponder his football future -- whether he should return to Alabama or enter the NFL draft -- but it would be fair to Tagovailoa to only be concerned about his rehab process. Getting healthy is the top priority.
