Trevor Lawrence suffers sprained ankle in loss to Bengals
The injury isn't as bad as initially feared for the former No. 1 pick
People were speechless on Monday night when Jaguars star quarterback Trevor Lawrence went down with what looked to be a serious ankle injury. Lawrence got stepped on by one of his lineman and then his body rolled over.
The former No. 1 overall pick tried to walk off under his own power, but he then immediately fell to the turf. People in the stadium gasped as soon as they saw this. This was a scary sight, as Lawrence had to be helped off the field and to the locker room.

On Tuesday morning, it was revealed that Lawrence suffered a sprained ankle, but the injury isn't as serious as many people expected. It's unknown how long he'll be out for, but this shouldn't be a season-ending injury.
