Antonio Brown recently took to social media to deliver an apology to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, following the wideout's ousting from the team after just a single game.

Well, the social media post received some positive feedback from his former running mates, including Tom Brady who liked and commented on the apology.

When speaking with the Boston Herald, Brady explained the reasoning behind his support for Brown. "I liked him. We had a great rapport when we were here," said Brady. "I'm trying to support him to be the best person that he can be, that's all."

Brady went on to apologize for the negative media attention and the drama his social media actions caused.

Still, he wasn't the only member of the Patriots who was supportive of AB's message. Other players, including Phillip Dorsett and Brandon Bolden were also seen liking the post.

Brady's social media activity spurred rumors that he was interested in reacquainting with the former Pats wideout, an assumption which seemed to irk the 42-year-old.

"People put a lot of words in people's mouths. It's just part of the world we're living in," Brady said in response to the rumors.

While Brown could certainly supply a boost to a rather weak receiving corps in New England, it remains highly unlikely that the AFC leaders would consider bringing him back.
