Tom Brady Makes Fun of Himself on Twitter for Bold Fashion Choice He Made 17 Years Ago

The New England Patriots won their first Super Bowl of their dynasty 17 years ago. It was the start of an incredible run led by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. And today, the Pats' official Twitter account dropped a "throwback Thursday" video tweet harkening back to the time Brady earned his very first ring.

His response to the moment was to poke fun himself, specifically in reference to the brown leather jacket he opted to wear on the occasion:

The video shows Brady putting on his first championship ring decked out in the kind of jacket that doesn't exactly stand the test of time. That type of getup may have been somewhat in style in 2002, but nowadays, it stands out something fierce.

Even the GOAT knows that his fashion choice from his first Super Bowl-winning season were highly questionable, asking a rhetorical question in response to the archived video. Well, Tom, ya live and ya learn.

As for his on the field play nearly two decades later, he showed up to OTAs and posted a cryptic caption on his Instagram picture. "Treat my first like my last, and my last like my first."

Maybe he was listening to Jay-Z's "Black Album" recently?

If that caption is how Brady is feeling heading into this coming season, then NFL fans, even those who hate him, should appreciate his campaign this year, being that there will never be another Tom Brady in this league.
