We're almost a week away from the 2020 NFL Draft, and the anticipation is killing us. In what seems to be the one of the deepest draft classes in recent memory, it feels like every team is bound to end up with a Day 1 contributor.

Multi-round mock draft projections only add fuel to the fire of our draft craving, especially if you're Tom Brady. Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest two-round mock draft should have the Tampa Bay quarterback plenty excited about the young weapons he'll be surrounded with on offense. The ESPN analyst has the Bucs taking Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas with their initial selection, followed by Tampa Bay landing Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor.

These projections don't mean all that much, necessarily, but this would be an ideal way for it to play out for the Bucs. Tampa Bay has a host of team needs to sort out in this year's draft, but protecting Brady and giving him a perfect dump-off option out of the back field, a la Jams White, should be close to the top of their to-do list.

The Buccaneers won't have any problem in the passing game with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and O.J. Howard, but it'll be further bolstered if Taylor's dual-threat abilities are added. Ronald Jones has yet to pan out in his two pro seasons, so Taylor can help pick up the slack there while adding depth at the position.

Tampa Bay's defense is young, but slowly coming together. If the Buccaneers commit their first two selections to offensive players who can help Brady, and focus on defense after, they'll have played their cards right.
