After a weekend full of festivities, the All-Star Break has come to an end. Teams are set to make their final push towards the playoffs in the second half of the season. The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder are set to square off in their first games back from the hiatus, in what should be a see-saw battle.

The Thunder enter play as the sixth seed in the Western Conference. At 33-22, they've played well through the first segment of the season, but a statement win over a team like the Nuggets could help spark a run to send them soaring in the standings.
Chris Paul has done a good job of leading this Thunder team to where they are now, and his veteran experience will assuredly prove useful as they inch towards a postseason spot.

As for the Nuggets, they'll look to continue doing all of the things that helped them to a 38-17 record in the first half of the year. They trail the Los Angeles Lakers by four games for the top seed in the Western Conference.
It's a matchup of two star-studded teams looking to make a statement out of the gate, and with a modest five games separating the two teams in the standings, this could go a long way towards shaping the playoff picture.
