More trade buzz, NFL fans! We've known for quite a while the relationship between Leonard Fournette and the Jacksonville Jaguars has been souring, which has led to the former top pick being placed on the trade block.

We've explored a number of Fournette trade options, but it seems we forgot one destination that could be a match made in heaven: the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steelers nation may not love it, but a straight up swap of Fournette and running back James Conner could get this deal done. Fournette is due $8.6 million in 2020 and carries a fifth-year option that will be even more expensive. Connor will be making $1 million in 2020 and will be a free agent after the season, but the Jags could find their running back of the future and sign him to an extension if he meshes well with Gardner Minshew and Co.

Fournette is more of a bruiser, which is what the Steelers running game needs. If general manager Kevin Colbert thinks it'll be a good pairing, he can pick up the fifth-year option before the May deadline.

As for the Jags, they'll rid themselves of the Fournette headache, save over $3 million, and get themselves a cheap dual-threat running back who they can potentially coax into signing an extension. If Conner stays healthy, this deal is as fair as it gets.

Why not?
