The LeBron 17s Are Dropping Next Week and They're Absolute Fire

Nike is releasing the 17th shoe in LeBron James' signature line, and they look as gorgeous as ever with a familiar feel.

The LeBron 17 is set to release on Friday, Sept. 27 and will retail for $200 USD, making it one of Nike's more expensive signature basketball shoes. So if you want to be like The King, you'll have to fork over more cash compared to the cost of a pair of Kyrie's or KD's.

The 17's upper looks similar to the past few iterations of the Lakers superstar's shoe, though the this edition introduces the brand new Knitposite, which blends the LeBron 15's knit with the 16's Battleknit to create a sturdy-but-soft material for the three-time NBA champion.

Comfort shouldn't be an issue either, as the 17 boasts the highest volume Max Air heel unit ever in a LeBron shoe, giving the springy padding required to elevate for lethal dunks (if you can get up there).

The Lakers will be a bit shorthanded this year, so if any of you out there can pull a Calvin Cambridge a la Like Mike by balling out in a pair of LeBron 17s, you could possibly find a spot in the LakeShow rotation, and maybe even a role in Space Jam 2.
