The Internet is Convinced Blake Swihart Snitched on the Red Sox and it's Pretty Funny

Once social media catches a whiff of a rumor, it often spreads like wildfire.

However, the sheer resentment being shown towards former Boston Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart is more theatrical than normal. The internet is somehow convinced that the 28-year-old snitched and the club, and therefore commenced the MLB's investigation into its sign-stealing operation.

This slander is so preposterous that it's kind of funny. Again, we say that assuming Swihart couldn't care less about these cuss-loving trolls.

Because things are almost always taken a step further in these sort of situations, some insane person actually made a Swihart hate club account on Twitter. To be fair, the photoshop of the rodent from the film "Ratatouille" is priceless.

Even for Twitter, this is pretty dramatic.

How's about we check on some of the posts from this account?

Our guess is that the former No. 26 overall pick of the Red Sox, despite his falling out with the franchise, will not take down the jersey.

Alright, that's enough of that. Why wait for the facts when you can berate a player that's (faintly) rumored to be the snitch?

Swihart was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks early on in the 2019 season. He was ultimately released by Arizona and later landed with the Texas Rangers, his current club.
