The Internet is Already Convinced Antonio Brown Will Somehow End Up With the Patriots

The beginning of the 2019 NFL season was overshadowed on Thursday by reports by ESPN's Adam Schefter regarding a looming suspension for Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown.
After posting a photo of his letter from general manager Mike Mayock regarding a recent fine, AB and the front office executive got into a heated exchange. In the altercation, Brown reportedly threatened to punch Mayock in the face before punting a football on the practice field.
With speculation about the Raiders potentially voiding Brown's $30 million in guaranteed money or even cutting ties with the player entirely, the internet freaked out of one subsequent possibility. That's right, Antonio Brown joining the New England Patriots.

Ah, yes, we can't wait for the Patriots to send a seventh-round pick in exchange for Antonio Brown... and a seventh-round pick. Belichick always finds a way to work his magic, doesn't he?
Hate to say this but im afraid this is how this all turns out..

Raiders are gonna cut AB.. get their money back... then Bill Belichick is gonna swoope in and WHAMMY. @AB84’s a Patriot doing things the Patriot Way out of nowhere. pic.twitter.com/sK6orRGVKr
The Patriots have done it before by snatching Randy Moss from the Raiders, and the receiver put up record-setting numbers in his first season with Tom Brady.
Antonio Brown will bomb out on the Raiders just like Randy Moss did. Then there will be this whole contrition tour after the Patriots inevitably sign him, and then he'll have 38 TD catches the next season.

38? More like 380.
“And the Patriots have now won another Super Bowl with Josh Gordon and Antonio Brown combining for 800 yards against the Saints. How do they keep doing it?”

You know it's gonna happen, right?
Who knows if the New England Patriots would even attempt to bring in Antonio Brown, given he brings enough drama to fill a full season of a soap opera. But with today's NFL fans, they always have that thought deep in the back of their head that the Patriots will find a way to get even better than they already are.
