The Giants Are so Bad They Let All of the Eagles' 34 Points Come From Former Practice Squad Players

The Philadelphia Eagles are officially playoff bound, following a 34-17 drubbing of their division rivals, the New York Giants.

In truly embarrassing fashion for the Giants, the Eagles scored all of their points through former practice squad players, as injuries to Zach Ertz and Miles Sanders paved the way to increased reps for the likes of Josh Perkins and Boston Scott.

It's hard to say which part is more demoralizing for Giants fans: the entirety of their opponents' scoring coming from former benchwarmers, or the fact that more than half of those points came from Scott, who had two career touchdowns prior to the outing.

Regardless, it appeared as though the Giants brass was not too thrilled with this effort in the team's final game and they have moved to relieve Pat Shurmur of his duties as head coach.

The Giants just can't seem to get it right. Losing to a group of scrap-heap players to end the season is a low that even the Cincinnati Bengals could not imagine.

On the brighter side of things, there's nowhere to go but up from here, right?
