The 2019 Eagles Will Go as Far as Their Offensive Line Takes Them
By Michael Luciano

In a league where quality offensive lines are a big indicator of a team's success, the Philadelphia Eagles are in possession of one of the most well-rounded units in the league.
Although the Eagles O-line hadn't played up to the billing during their 1-2 start, the star unit of Lane Johnson, Brandon Brooks, Jason Kelce, Isaac Seumalo, and future Hall of Famer Jason Peters controlled the line of scrimmage against the Green Bay Packers, allowing the Birds to run for 176 yards in a 34-27 win at Lambeau.

It really is amazing what can happen when every running play isn't a two-yard draw up the middle and Carson Wentz doesn't need to rely on his arm each and every drive.
The offensive line waking up has finally given the Eagles balance. With a banged-up receiving corps and a brittle Wentz at quarterback, the offensive line is going to be integral to the team's success this season.
Going totally one-dimension on offense is a good way to get bounced early in the playoffs. The formula for the Eagles to make another Super Bowl run this season is to keep pounding Jordan Howard behind the big uglies while allowing Wentz to feast on the play action.

As tempting as it is for the Eagles to try to base the offense around a bunch of quick throws from Wentz, the O-line has shown it can manhandle a solid pass rush to keep Wentz in the pocket and help establish the ground game. That group will be Philly's meal ticket this season.
