Texas A&M Tennis Player Jayci Goldsmith Can Also Battle a Wild Boar in Her Spare Time

Texas A&M has long been proving itself as one of the most accomplished programs in the SEC, in terms of competitiveness in all sports, but their women's tennis team, fresh off a 24-8 season and a No. 22 national ranking, has a few standouts who deserve mentioning.

Chief among them is sophomore Jayci Goldsmith, the only Texan on the A&M roster who feels just as much at home on a four wheeler or wrestling wild boars as she does on the tennis court.

Hailing from Dripping Springs, Texas, pop. 4,000, Goldsmith's skills with hogs probably come in handy back home.

On the court, Goldsmith is becoming a dominant force for the Aggies, as she was named Freshman of the Week after winning both a singles and doubles match against LSU in April.

If you're ever in need of someone who can uncork a beautiful ace and wrestle a crazed wild animal with equal prowess in both, Goldsmith is for you.
