Texas A&M RB Jashaun Corbin Commits to Florida State After Entering Transfer Portal
By Jerry Trotta

Well, that didn't take long.
Roughly two weeks ago, Texas A&M sophomore tailback Jashaun Corbin entered his name into the NCAA's transfer portal. Fast forward to Saturday morning, and Corbin took to Twitter to reveal that he'll be leaving the Aggies for another Power Five program.
Corbin is taking his talents to Tallahassee, FL and will join forces with new head coach Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles.

Prior to announcing his commitment to Texas A&M, 247Sports listed Corbin as the No. 8 all-purpose RB from his class and No. 261 overall recruit. During the recruitment process, he was offered nearly 40 scholarships.
Corbin was tabbed the Aggies' starting tailback for 2019, but only appeared in two games before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury against Clemson.

Corbin still has three years of eligibility remaining after becoming eligible for a redshirt this season. In 14 career games at the college level, Corbin is averaging five yards per carry and has 483 yards and two touchdowns.
It didn't take long for the running back to make this important decision, and now he'll have to hope he gets a transfer waiver from the NCAA in order to be eligible for the Seminoles in 2020.
