The Detroit Lions will be in Houston on Saturday to take on the Houston Texans in an inter-conference preseason battle after a week of joint practices. Neither starting quarterback-- Matthew Stafford or Deshaun Watson-- played in Week 1, so it will be interesting to see whether they get any action in Saturday's meeting.

How to Live Stream the Game

The game will kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. It can be streamed through NFL Game Pass or on the NFL Streams subreddit.

The two teams are in very different stages of roster development, as the Texans hope to build on last year's playoff appearance, while the Lions are coming off a disappointing 6-10 campaign in 2018.

TV Schedule

The game will not be nationally televised, but it will be broadcast locally on WBJK Fox-2 in Detroit and KTRK ABC-13 in Houston.

Perhaps the most important position group for Texans fans to watch will be the offensive line, which has failed to adequately protect Deshaun Watson in his first two seasons. The line should be improved this season, though, and the name to look out for is Tytus Howard, the team's versatile first round draft pick.

Radio Broadcast

Radio broadcasts of the game will be available in local markets, such as Sports Radio 610 (AM) in Houston and 760 AM in Detroit.

Regardless of the outcome, this game will give fans a small teaser of what's to come in 2019.
