As the quarantine continues, more and more athletes have taken to Twitter to speak their mind about different topics. The latest to enter the arena is Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson. After two radio personalities John Feinstein and Doug Gottlieb, were arguing about a possible correlation between the draft placement of African American quarterbacks, Watson chimed in on the conversation. He said that the Chicago Bears, who selected Mitchell Trubisky at No. 2 over Watson and Patrick Mahomes, didn't even talk with him during the pre-draft process.

That's literal evidence. Wow.

Not only that, but old tweets resurfaced to further drive the point home.

Other headlines from years ago suggest the Bears did their homework on Watson, so we're not sure what prompted the star quarterback to weigh in here and state something that clearly isn't true.

We get that Watson may feel slighted that he was passed up on for a guy in Trubisky who just had his fifth-year option declined, but there are receipts here to prove he is wrong. Maybe the Bears didn't speak with him extensively, but that doesn't mean they didn't talk to him at all, which is what Watson is claiming here despite telling Eisen the exact opposite three years ago.
