After punching in a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs -- the team that traded him away to Houston before the start of the season -- veteran running back Carlos Hyde felt a certain way. In fact, he took the opportunity to yell a few f-bombs at the top of his lungs. And the television cameras were close by to pick it all up.

Upon learning this after the game, however, Hyde was surprisingly contrite, despite the fact that his Texans ended up scoring a famous victory over the Chiefs in their own house, and the energy was still running high.

This is a great example to set for the kids, Carlos.

You'd almost let the guy off the hook based on the context of the situation. The Chiefs entered the season as possible Super Bowl contenders, after all, and beating them at Arrowhead Stadium is certainly a tall task for any team.

Indeed, sir. Indeed.

Good on Carlos Hyde for being a very real adult here. His careful moment of reflection has been noted.
