Tennessee WR Jauan Jennings Take Subtle Shot at Vanderbilt Ahead of Rivalry Game
By Mark Powell

Jauan Jennings is a Vols fan favorite for a reason, and the Tennessee senior target found another way to get on their good side by trolling rival Vanderbilt ahead of their matchup on Saturday.
The Vols are rightfully favored vs a lowly Vanderbilt team, as Jeremy Pruitt's squad has won five of their last six games en route to becoming bowl eligible. Jennings has played a role in that, becoming a go-to target for QB Jarrett Guarantano.
Jennings, from just outside of Nashville, was asked if he's often approached with the fact that Tennessee has lost three straight games to Vandy.

"I don’t really hear about it too much. I don’t really hear people talking about Vanderbilt at all, honestly," Jennings said.
We'll take that as a resounding no.
Pruitt could use a program-building win heading into bowl season. There's no reason Tennessee shouldn't be able to handle Vandy this season, as they've fallen off considerably from where James Franklin left them years ago.
Jauan Jennings on what Tennessee fans have meant to him over the past five years: "Everything. Without them, it could be the complete opposite. I could not be here right now if the fans did not have my back. That's why, every down, I give my all. It means more than just me."

For Jennings, it would be the perfect way to leave Tennessee after five years of service.
