Teddy Bridgewater Could Miss Out on Huge Payday From Saints Today

New Orleans Saints' quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will likely be losing sleep for weeks if he doesn't find the end zone today against Carolina.

If Bridgewater were to throw a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers, then he would hit 10 touchdowns on the season and earn a bonus of $250,000. If he fails to do so, though, he'll get nothing.

Bridgewater took over as the Saints' starting quarterback when Drew Brees went down with a thumb injury earlier this campaign. In his five stars running the offense, he powered New Orleans to a 5-0 record.

In Week 17, Bridgewater will need some help getting on the field in order to try and land his major bonus.

Even though his time was limited this season, Bridgewater has shown every NFL team what they need to see when he becomes a free agent next offseason. He's a winner on and off the field.

Bridgewater is going to get paid wherever he goes and if Sean Payton sees the former Louisville Cardinal as his quarterback of the future, then he is going to receive a nice check.

So, while he might not land his $250,000 bonus, his nine touchdowns surely will be helping him earn a lot more down the road.
