The NBA is well known for having the tallest athletes of any of the major sports. In fact, the average height of a player is about 6-foot-7. But what happens when you pair up two guys on extreme ends of the height spectrum?

Well, we've already seen 7-foot-7 Manute Bol and 5-foot-3 Muggsy Bogues do it way back in the day to create a hilarious photo for the Washington Bullets. And now, the spirit of that photo has been recaptured thanks to Celtics rookies Tacko Fall and Tremont Waters.

The 7-foot-6 Fall and 5-foot-10 Waters are teammates on the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics' G League affiliate, and they decided to take advantage of this massive difference to humorous effect. They faithfully replicated the original photo, even holding three balls just like Bol and Bogues did. The height disparity isn't quite as wild as the original, but you have to give an A for effort and creativity.

Somebody actually responded to the post with another less remembered photo similar to these, this time with Bol and 5-foot-7 Spud Webb.

This makes us wonder who else can copy this picture. Too bad Yao Ming and Earl Boykins never did it. What a missed opportunity.
