Much like Donald Sterling with the Los Angeles Clippers and James Dolan with the New York Knicks, Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has been the one common thread through the years of mediocrity that turned a venerable franchise into a doormat in their own division.

Pro Bowl offensive tackle Trent Williams is refusing to play for the team after he believes they mishandled a serious medical issue, which has made big headlines this offseason.

And now, former Redskins and current Denver Broncos safety Su'a Cravens backed up Williams as he aired his grievances against Snyder and the Redskins, as Cravens himself claims that he was a victim of improper medical care.

Cravens says that the Redskins cut him off from his insurance and froze his payments as he recovered from a head injury as well as mental health issues he claims the team didn't acknowledge.

Cravens was traded after two seasons in Washington that were marred by concussions and his decision to retire from the NFL, which he quickly walked back.

While despicable behavior is nothing new from an NFL owner, Snyder pulling something like this is so depraved it's almost unreal.

For the Redskins to return to the Joe Gibbs days, Snyder has to realize that he's been the problem and quietly exit stage left.
