Sure, but what about everybody else?

The Dallas Cowboys might have a quarterback demanding close to $30 million a year, and arguably the best running back the NFL has to offer holding out of training camp in search of his own deal, but at least the Jones family thinks they've found the money to pay Amari Cooper.

Acquired from the Oakland Raiders last season for the first-round pick that became safety Johnathan Abram, the three-time Pro-Bowler had 725 yards and seven touchdowns in just nine games as a Cowboy. Stephen Jones claims that an extension for their No. 1 wideout is indeed in the works.

Despite Jones' wishes to get a deal done, Cooper is in no rush to get one finalized. With a lot of young players all vying for long-term deals in Dallas, it could be a wise strategy for Cooper to watch the chaos unfold before sticking his foot in the ground and setting a minimum price for his services.

This is what happens when you draft really well and make some shrewd moves on the trade market. Everyone wants a big payday, but the salary cap makes it so the Jones family needs to decide which members of this young corps can be replaced.
