Over the weekend, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith took to social media and blasted Colin Kaepernick for not showing up to the workout that was scheduled by the NFL, while also insinuating that the former QB doesn't actually want to play again.

That led to Carolina Panthers safety and Kaepernick advocate Eric Reid to respond and trash the ESPN host. Stephen A. wasn't going to ignore it and turn the other cheek, so he took to Instagram and posted a long diatribe calling out Reid.

It may be a long soliloquy by Stephen A. but he goes really in depth here. In summation, he calls out Reid for attacking the likes of Malcolm Jenkins and Jay-Z when they disagree with Reid's point-of-view. He also calls out Reid for having beef with everyone, including the NFL, and questions whether he actually cares about racial injustice.

He didn't stop either and responded again after Reid shot back. The media warring with players seems to be a new trend and it looks like Smith vs. Reid has taken centerstage. Expect more from these two as further updates regarding Kaepernick surface.
