Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier's multi-year comeback efforts to return to the NFL has been nothing short of inspirational. However, it's truly uncertain if he has a realistic shot at playing another snap as a pro.

Though he remains part of the Steelers, odds are working against the two-time Pro Bowler to sign another lucrative contract as a player. Therefore, it doesn't really come as a great surprise that Shazier has put his Pennsylvania home up for sale for $2.95 million.

Shazier purchased the 9,000 square foot home in August of 2017, just months before he suffered a spinal injury during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals that has put his career on hold.

As a rookie, the Ohio State product signed a four-year, $9.5 million contract with Pittsburgh. Despite establishing himself as one of the most imposing linebackers in the sport, the injury has impeded him from landing his second contract as a pro. For most players that exceed expectations on their rookie deal, that extension is normally a life-changing one.

Over the last two seasons, Shazier has earned $931,000. From 2014-2017, the former No. 15 banked a combined total of $4.2 million.

If you've got an extra $3 million around, you can move into Shazier's old pad by the end of the week. Hey, he might even throw in some sweet Steelers gear.
