It's time to focus on life after football. This is what veteran defensive tackle Stephon Tuitt has on his mind, as the d-lineman surprisingly announced on Wednesday that he has decided to hang up his cleats.

That's right, despite being only 29 years old and having plenty of great football ahead of him, Tuitt is moving on to the next step in his life.

This isn't something that folks expected, but more power to Tuitt to walk away from the game on his own terms. This is a bit of a loss for the Steelers, but Tuitt's heart clearly wasn't focused on continuing to play.
