Entering the final season of his rookie deal, JuJu Smith-Schuster's days in Pittsburgh could be winding down before our eyes.

This was already an established fact, as many Steelers insiders can back up.

Now, it's all but official. The Steelers know how to draft wideouts -- Smith-Schuster himself is evidence of this -- and on Friday, with their first pick of the 2020 Draft, Pittsburgh selected Chase Claypool out of Notre Dame, adding another weapon to Ben Roethlisberger's war chest.

Claypool is sort of a WR/TE hybrid, but will be used primarily on the outside in Pittsburgh. He's a touchdown machine, and with James Washington and Diontae Johnson already in tow, the possibilities are endless for the Steelers in 2020.

Unfortunately for Smith-Schuster, that could very well be his final year on the roster. If the Steelers are smart, they'll even listen to more offers on the USC product this offseason, as his value won't be much higher than it is at this very moment.

Even without Smith-Schuster on the roster beyond 2020, the Steelers are set at wideout for years to come. Claypool's roster flexibility gives Roethlisberger and Randy Fichtner all kinds of creative options moving forward.
