The Baltimore Orioles hold the No. 2 pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, but they're already on the clock, as the Detroit Tigers are almost certainly going to use the No. 1 overall pick on Arizona State first baseman Spencer Torkelson due to his raw power and All-Star potential. Torkelson's strength is unmatched across all of college baseball, and his highlight reel from his stint in Tempe should get Tigers fans pumped up about their future franchise cornerstone.

Torkelson played in just 129 college games, but he managed to slug 54 home runs while posting a .337 average. You don't need to be an MLB GM to see that his raw power and sweet swing will translate well to the pros.

When Torkelson gets picked No. 1 overall, he will become the first right-handed hitting first baseman and first college first baseman to be taken in that spot. When you have as much upside at the plate as he does, there shouldn't be much debate over who is the best pro prospect in this class.

Miguel Cabrera was magnificent in his day, but his time is drawing to a close. Given how Torkelson is projected to speed through the minor leagues, he should make his debut at Comerica Park sometime in the near future.
