South Carolina Gamecock nation was shaken on Monday to find that the Gamecocks' former second baseman Justin Row was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

South Carolina baseball's official twitter account tweeted out a message to USC fans notifying them of the news and asking for their support for him.

Row spent his final two years of his NCAA eligibility at USC after transferring from Fullerton College.

In his senior year, 2018, Row was a standout, leading the team with a .347 batting average which also was seventh-best in the SEC. He slugged .540 and had seven home runs, 25 RBI, 13 doubles, and 33 runs scored along with that. He also hit .357 in SEC play, which was good for fourth in the conference.

Not only was he a stellar ballplayer, but he was a stellar student as well. A sociology major, Row got his degree after graduating last spring, but not before being named to the 2017 and 2018 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.

All of Gamecock nation is rallying around Row, as he needs all the support he can get right now.
