VIDEO: Snoop Dogg Pays Tribute to Kobe Bryant in Emotional Clip at ESPYs
By Jerry Trotta

Though it was held virtually, the 2020 ESPYs were as emotional on Sunday night as they normally are with thousands of fans packed into the Microsoft Theater. Co-hosts Russell Wilson, Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird touched on the current climate of the country, including the ongoing call for social justice and the coronavirus pandemic. Later in the night, hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg honored the late Kobe Bryant with a new song that recounted the Hall of Famer's most notable accolades.

This was incredible tribute from Snoop Dogg as Bryant's tragic death continues to be mourned in the greater basketball community and among fans from around the world. As we know, Kobe and his daughter Gianna, along with seven other passengers, perished in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on Jan. 26.
Just hours before Snoop paid tribute to the five-time NBA champion, Bryant's wife, Vanessa, posted an emotional Father's Day message on Instagram in his honor.
