The "Buffalo Bills as AFC East Champions" idea is one of the NFL's most intriguing propositions heading into the upcoming season. In a now wide open division, Buffalo seems bound to make the leap from good to great, with some draft picks to help make the transition.

Buffalo took an offensive focus this offseason as a team that ranked toward the league's bottom in total yard production last season. Despite having an already effective rushing game, Zack Moss will grow Buffalo's ground game in entirely new directions.

From the outset, Moss will find himself in a complementary role to Devin Singletary in the backfield, with an immediate impact third-round picks rarely have. Singletary found his way following Frank Gore's departure, but due to the volatility of the running back position, Moss' presence will be incredibly valued.

Moss was an absolute nightmare at Utah too, rushing for three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with double-digit touchdown numbers, accumulating numerous school records.

Known as an especially physical running back, Moss can serve as the third-down back and as a player who can step in and fatigue defenses when tackling becomes an afterthought. An expanded running game will absolutely open up Josh Allen's passing attack as well.

Chemistry comes into play here, too. Singletary and Moss knew each other in college and Singletary has welcomed Moss in with open arms, while the competition will likely power both to new levels on the field.

The prospect of Devin Singletary with an increased workload along with Zack Moss as a second option is a scary one for any opponent. Together, the two will form the two-headed monster Buffalo needs to develop into one of the NFL's very best backfield threats in the years to come.
