Germany has come out of the gates strong, beating Great Britain, Denmark, and France so far this tournament. Led by Edmonton Oilers star Leon Draisaitl ( two goals in three games) and now with the addition of Philipp Grubauer, the Germans have proven that their solid defensive play will make them a threat this tournament.

After defeating the USA in their first game and giving the Canadians all they can handle, losing in the final seconds, the Slovaks have proven to be a thorn in the side of their opponents.
