Shaquille O'Neal wants to honor his friend in the best way he knows how, pushing forward.

Shaq posted on his Instagram story about possibly shutting down his "Friday Nights Fun House" Friday before Super Bowl LIV in Miami. But, after giving it some thought, the former Laker decided against doing so, in order to benefit Kobe and the victims of the tragic helicopter crash.

Shaq wrote that although he wanted to cancel the event, "Kobe would want us to push through and celebrate life." So he had a better idea.

The four-time NBA Champion decided to dedicate all the proceeds from the event to the Altobelli family, the Chester family, the Zobayan family and the Mauser family, whose loved ones were all affected by the crash. O'Neal will also donate some of the proceeds to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Foundation.

This is a touching tribute from Kobe's former teammate, who showed his complete shock at Kobe's death during the TNT Tribute on Tuesday night, where he reiterated his emotions, stating, "I still can't believe it."

Shaq's Fun House in Miami is almost sold out, and will probably be shortly, as people want to help the families affected in any way they can. The event is set to be headlined by Diddy, Tïesto, Diplo and Miami's own Pitbull.
