Apparently legal troubles run in the Telfair family.

Octavia Telfair, the sister of former former 10-year NBA veteran Sebastian Telfair, was arrested after making violent threats to Telfair's estranged wife Samantha. The threats stemmed from Samantha testifying against Telfair when the former point guard was charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm.

Since Octavia lives in New York and Samantha lives in LA, it was the FBI who ultimately made the arrests, despite the fact the NYPD and LAPD were doing the investigating.

Octavia allegedly made over 50 phone calls to Samantha after the latter testified. As for Sebastian, he's looking at 15 years in prison after police found handguns, bulletproof vests, ammunition, marijuana, and a semi-automatic in his car during a traffic stop.

A former high school prodigy who was selected in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, Telfair bounced around the NBA, playing for eight teams in 10 years. His best season came with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2007, during which he averaged 9.3 points and 5.9 assists per game.

Hectic times in the Telfair house.
