Seahawks taking Kenneth Walker makes tons of sense

The Seattle Seahawks surprised plenty of folks when they decided to use an early pick on Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker. However, GM John Schneider made the right call here, no doubt.

Walker was the best RB in the country last year, and Seattle runs the dang ball. With Russell Wilson gone, and Chris Carson's health up in the air, Walker could turn out to be the RB of the future for this team.

Keep in mind that while Rashaad Penny is back, it's only on a one-year deal. This makes the Walker addition even more important for the Seahawks as a whole.
