The NFL MVP debate has had about 10 different candidates at the forefront since the season began, but there's been one player who has consistently made the list, and that's Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

With Green Bay Packers quarterback and last week's MVP favorite Aaron Rodgers putting up a dud performance against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Wilson single-handedly led Seattle to a comeback overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to once again take over the top spot.

If Sunday proved anything, it's that Wilson is the undisputed NFL MVP, and it's hard to dispute right now.

The Seahawks faced a 21-7 deficit in the first half against Tampa Bay, but that was no match for Wilson and his offense.

He completed 29 of 43 pass attempts for 378 yards and a career-high five touchdowns against Tampa Bay. Talk about putting the team on his back.

With this incredible performance, Wilson now has thrown for 2,505 yards, 22 touchdowns, and just one interception on a 68.3% completion percentage. Oh, and he's accounted for 203 yards and three touchdowns on the ground on top of those video game numbers.

Just last year, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won the NFL MVP award by putting up these types of otherworldly performances.

Russell Wilson has done just that this year in Seattle, helping lead the Seahawks to a 7-2 record and an impending playoff berth. There has been no player in the league more consistent than Wilson, which makes him the frontrunner for the coveted MVP award a no-brainer.
