Seahawks 1st-Rounder LJ Collier Carted Off Field During Training Camp
By Jerry Trotta

Training camp injuries are some of the most disappointing aspects of the NFL offseason, and the Seattle Seahawks are just the latest team to have a man go down before the preseason even gets underway.
Multiple reports have confirmed that 2019 first-round selection, former TCU defensive end, LJ Collier, was carted off the field during Tuesday's practice with a right leg injury following an 11-on-11 drill.

There's no word yet as to how serious this ailment could be, but Seahawks reporter Joe Fann noted that Collier attempted to hobble off the field upon suffering the knock, but he was unable to do so and the training staff was called onto the scene.
#Seahawks First round pick LJ Collier is down and looks to be in a lot of pain. Was able to get up and hobble off with minimal assistance. Will hope to get an update after practice.

It's a brutal formulation for the former Horned Frog world-beater, as most within Seattle's camp expected him to make a genuine push to become the organization's starting DE. At the very least, Collier would have featured heavily as a rotational player.
During the 2018 season with TCU, Collier compiled 42 tackles, 11.5 of which went for losses, 6 sacks, and 4 passes breakups.
