After trading away Frank Clark back in April of 2019 to the Kansas City Chiefs for draft picks, the second-round pick for 2020 becomes a valuable asset for the Seattle Seahawks. With the departure of Jadeveon Clowney all but confirmed, and Russell Wilson turning 32 during the 2020 NFL season, this is a crucial draft for the Seahawks front office. Here are three talented players they could acquire with the 64th pick in the NFL draft.

3. Denzel Mims

When paying your franchise quarterback over $30 million, it is imperative to provide him with as many weapons as possible, and as DK Metcalf showed last season, the draft is an excellent place to acquire that talent. Denzel Mims is a receiver that knows how to find the end zone, and at 6-3, 215 pounds, he would provide Wilson with another big target to aim for in the red zone. Having played every game in the last three years, as well, his durability will be a coveted asset for the Seahawks offense.

2. Jordyn Brooks

Here is a tough truth for Seahawks fans: Bobby Wagner is not getting any younger. Wagner struggled often in coverage last season, and at age 30 heading into the 2020 season, it would be wise for the Seattle front office to pick up some younger talent that can help cover from the linebacker spot. Jordyn Brooks possesses off-the-charts athleticism, and is already a stud against the run. With plenty of talent to be mentored by, Brooks can seamlessly transition in as Wagner's potential replacement, if developed correctly.

1. Julian Okwara

The biggest need that will have to be addressed in the draft is a proven pass-rusher. While nobody can replace the talents of Clowney, a pass-rusher with a nose for the quarterback is still a valued commodity for NFL teams. Julian Okwara can be that guy for the Seattle Seahawks. With a 4.57 40-yard dash time, and 15.5 sacks during his 31 games for Notre Dame, Okwara can develop into a third-down pass rushing threat for the Seahawks during key moments.
