Chalk has reigned supreme in the Mountain West Tournament, as No. 1 seed San Diego State will square off against No. 2 seed Utah State on Saturday evening in the championship game.

Tipoff from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas is slated for 5:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally on CBS. Live streaming will be available on the CBS Sports app as well as the NCAA Basketball Streams subreddit.

The Aztecs have almost all of the narratives working in their favor, including the fact that they've toppled the Aggies in both of their matchups thus far this season.
SDSU will, however, need to muster a more complete performance on Saturday. Brian Dutcher's side was forced to comeback in both the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Mountain West tournament.
Look for star junior guard Malachi Flynn, the conference's Player of the Year, to set the tone for the Aztecs.

Utah State, on the other hand, will be eyeing their second consecutive win over San Diego State in the Mountain West Final. The Aggies have won 11 of 13, and are fresh off hanging 89 points on Wyoming in the semifinals.
The top seed has won the Mountain West Tournament just one time, and Utah State will be looking to play spoiler against the Aztecs.
