Salty Mavericks Take Shot at Officials on Twitter After Late No-Call Cost Them Game vs Lakers

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers put the rest of the NBA on notice, but not without a little help from the officiating crew.

Down three points with just a few seconds to go, LeBron James drove into the paint and found Danny Green in the corner for a game-tying three-pointer. How'd Green get so open, you ask? Dwight Howard mauling Seth Curry might've had a little something to do with that.

The Mavs weren't thrilled about this development, especially after they fell in overtime.

$20 says Mark Cuban wrote that tweet.

The Mavs are one of the better stories in the NBA to begin this season, as Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis appear to be a formidable pairing. Dallas' goal is a playoff spot, meaning every game against a Western Conference foe, even this early in the season, is vital.

We're all for the petty social media play, and hopefully these two teams meet again with something actually on the line late in the season or, perhaps, in the playoffs. Don't expect Cuban and Co. to subtweet if the officiating goes awry a that point.
