Is this the end of the road for future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Drew Brees? After the Saints were eliminated in the postseason by the Minnesota Vikings, questions surrounding Brees' future instantly came about.

He just turned 41 years old, but there's no denying he's still one of the best quarterbacks in the league. However, Brees made it clear at the Pro Bowl he's not sure what's in store for him next season. It's all up in the air.

What we do know is that if he does return to the gridiron for another go in 2020, it will be with the Saints. However, No. 9 most certainly did leave the door open for him to hang up his cleats and retire.

This past season, Brees was once again one of the top signal callers in the NFL, throwing for 2,979 yards and 27 touchdowns in 11 games. He missed substantial time due to a thumb injury and battled pain throughout the year. That didn't stop him from becoming the all-time TDs leader.

Brees still has what it takes to sling the ball around with the best of them. He'll just have to decide if he wants to chase another Super Bowl or spend more time with his family and forget about taking more hits to his body every Sunday. This certainly isn't what Saints fans wanted to worry about this offseason after another disappointing campaign, but it's a reality in New Orleans.
