Ryan Fitzpatrick headed to IR with hip injury

Some simply terrible news has come in for veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, as his 2021 campaign appears to be up in the air. Fitzpatrick, who signed this offseason with the Washington Football team, suffered a serious hip injury in Week 1.
Going up against the Los Angeles Chargers, Fitzpatrick left the game early on and couldn't return. It's now been reported that he's headed to the Injured Reserve.

You've got to feel for Fitzpatrick. If it is season-ending for him, we may have seen him take the field for this last time in his storied career. Obviously, WFT fans are hoping this isn't the case.
